Since our operation began in 2014, the McMaster English Language Development (MELD) Office has had one goal: to help those whose first language is not English succeed in an academic English-language environment. Through our expertise in Linguistics, English as a Second Language, and English for Academic Purposes, we have developed immensely successful programs, allowing our graduates to flourish in their undergraduate, graduate, & professional careers.
